LEED Projects LEED Projects

Is LEED certification a requirement for your project? Did you know that mechanical contractors play a primary role in at least 22 of the available LEED points and at least a secondary role in another 11 points? At Environmental Mechanical, we help clients with construction that meets the standard of Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design (LEED), the premier designation of a green building. Environmental Mechanical has successfully completed more than 1,600,000 square feet of LEED construction, with projects such as Shawnee Justice Center, Fire Station #19, Penn Valley Health Science Center, Missouri Bank-Brookside, Greensburg Schools and numerous projects at Fort Riley and Fort Leavenworth. We have LEED-certified professionals and work with our LEED-certified engineering partners to guide you through the process of green construction, helping to identify potential LEED points and detailing both the costs and the advantages, from energy savings to enhanced project value. LEED projects currently underway include Bridgade HQ at Fort Riley, the Dining Facility at Fort Leavenworth and the KU Medical Office Building addition.
